The Samal Island is an archipelago of nine islands located in the Davao Gulf about 700 meters south of Davao City. The total land area of the islands is about 28,000 hectares, of which Samal and Talikud Islands account for 95 percent. Samal is a coastal paradise located at the heart of Davao Gulf. A heaven to those seeking solace in an unspoiled and natural ambiance and to those who are in quest for great adventure and extreme challenges with nature. The east-west orientation of the sites which ensures fabulous sunrises and sunsets, and the varied topography of rolling hills, whitesand beaches, and caves make Samal Islands an ideal model for resort and development.
